Assembly

At Friday's assembly we were lucky to have Olly Bowman come along and perform for us!  Olly is NZ's current champion at Soccer Freestyle.  He is 22 years old, and taught himself how to freestyle only 3 years ago!  He is competing in the World Champs in 2 weeks time.  Good luck, Olly!

Here are some (fuzzy) pics...

If you really want to see how talented Olly is - have a look at these videos.

Some clever children from Room 10 shared their very own limericks too.
There was a dog called Zack
Who wanted to scratch his back
It was really nice
He saw some mice
He put them in a sack!

There once was a girl called Jill
She went up a hill
There was a King
The King gave her a ring
and he gave her a quill.

There was a pirate named Jane
She stole a train
It didn't float
She needed a boat
She had to get out of the rain!

There once was a pirate named Ray
He went to the bay
In his pirate ship
A sail went rip
It was a nasty day!

There was an elephant called Pam
Who ate lots of ham
He was a pig
His tummy was big
He ate lots of strawberry jam!

There was a pirate called Nick
He was very sick
Because he ate his treasure map
and his pirate cap
His tummy felt like a brick!
